Tina Ward Shuart, Town Clerk/Tax Collector, for the Town of Cobleskill, has served her residents for 17 years. Tina is also a Notary Public, Records Management Officer and Registrar of Vital Statistics for the Town and Village of Cobleskill. She has served the NYSTCA as a District Director, Scholarship, Banquet, and Membership Chair, IIMC Liaison, RMC Development Committee, Cornell Municipal Clerks Institute and Academy Planning Committee, Treasurer, First Vice President, and currently as President.
Tina is the Founder of the Schoharie Town Clerks Association, holding every position, and even hosting the very first meeting in her dining room! This local association has grown to include the area Village clerks.
Master Municipal Clerk Shuart has served as Region I Director with the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, serving as well on many committees within this organization.
Married to Ted for 30 years, with one son, Nathaniel, Tina also enjoys family, travel, and scherenschnit. She assists with the younger children in Sunday School at the Lawyersville Reformed Church.
