Bambi Avery has served as Town Clerk of Dryden, in Tompkins County, since 1998. She also serves as the Town’s Receiver of Taxes & Assessments, Records Management Officer, Records Access Officer and Marriage Officer. She enjoys serving the residents of the town that she grew up in. In 2007 she was appointed to the Local Government Records Regional Advisory Council for Region 6. At the same time, she began her term as NYSTCA District Director for District 6. A Registered Municipal Clerk herself, she now chairs that Committee, and is currently continuing her education at Cornell Municipal Clerk Institute. In her spare time Bambi enjoys spending time with
her family, gardening, archery, reading, and sewing.
