Meet Karen
Beginning her career as Town of Sweden’s Court Clerk and then Tax Receiver, Karen has been their Town Clerk for the past 21 years, serves as the Monroe County Town Clerks Tax Receivers & Collectors Association Secretary and current Membership Chair for NYALGRO (New York Association of Local Government Records Officers). Karen has obtained her RMC with NYSTCA and MMC designation and Athenian Fellowship with IIMC. She has a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Brockport. She is the Village of Brockport Historian and the Director of the Brockport Museum and Library of Local History. She has four wonderful adult boys. While not attending to her office, she loves walking her dogs, reading, being with family, and longing for the day when she can travel.
